Associational Missions
Our Associational Mission Emphasis for May is “Joining Hands Touching Lives” and our Scripture is taken from Acts 2:46-47: “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And The Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Our Piedmont Baptist Association works together with singleness of heart in order to proclaim God’s love to unchurched people and to have sweet fellowship with each other. We will take our Francis Eller Offering for Associational Missions on May 27th, and our church goal is $500.00. Let us join together and touch someone’s life by giving generously.

We have just finished our first course in Men’s Fraternity. Twelve men were faithful to come Saturday mornings at 7:30 am for 24 sessions of learning. I am so proud of these men! We had a wide range of age between these men, but each one wanted to draw closer to the Lord. We had to look back at our past, remembering Mom and Dad and how they comforted our hurts. We studied a Biblical definition of manhood, studied the relationship between a Christian man and his wife, studied the Biblical relationship a man should have with his son and daughter.
A special thank you to Jerry Lodge, our Brotherhood Director, and Steve Kimble for getting up early to do extra duty so we could eat! I know our church and families will be stronger because of these men and what God did in their lives.
Living for Jesus, Bro. Royce
