I said a prayer for you today, and I know God must have heard: I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke not a word. I didn’t ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn’t mind.) I asked for priceless treasures rare of a more lasting kind. I prayed that He’d be near to you at the start of each new day, to grant you health and blessings fair, and friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small, but that you’d know His loving care I prayed the most of all. (anonymous)

Thank you
Dear Church Family,
Thanks so much for the kindness and support you have shown to my family by giving us the money we so desperately needed. We love each and every one of you. God bless you all. Love in Christ, Steve and Angela Elrod

Church Family,
Thank you so much for the love offering. There are no words to express the feeling I got when I opened the envelope, except maybe “shocked.” I want to thank my Lord for such good, Godly, loving church members. I know that without the love of God in your hearts this would not be possible. God still answers prayer. May the Lord bless you always and may you have a seven fold in your giving returned back to you. Love in Christ, A church member in need

Dear church family,
Meryl and I would like to thank you for all your prayers and support. We have appreciated how generous you all have been during this very important time in our lives. We thank you so very much for the wedding gifts and shower. We also appreciate the ones who were able to come all the way to Charleston for the wedding. You all will always have a very special place in our heart. Love in Christ, Austin and Meryl O’Donald

He Prays for the Country
A couple was touring the Capitol. Their guide pointed to a distinguished looking gentleman. “That is the congressional chaplain,” the guide explained.
“And what does the chaplain do? Does he pray for the Senate or the House?”
The guide replied, “No, he gets up, looks at the Congress . . .and then he prays for the country!”
Happy Fourth of July, Bro. Royce
