The Mexico Mission Team appreciates your support last Sunday night with the spaghetti supper. We received $469.00.

Mexico Mission Team will be serving supper after the evening service on September 21st. Menu: chicken casserole, corn dogs for the children, salad, applesauce, drink; will be donation basis only.

Mark your calendar now. Mexico Fundraiser on September 27th. Car wash, yard sale and food.

This is the day the Building Steering Team has challenged us for the largest ever building offering. I know you have prayed about it! The ushers will pass the offering plates.

There will be a nursery available during both the 10:00 AM and the 11:00 AM services. Children ages three through second grade should go directly to their rooms downstairs at the beginning of the 11:00 AM service for Children’s Church.

Immediately following the 11:00 AM Worship Service, we will proceed to the front steps of the church for a group picture. This is for everyone who is present. We will go and have our site dedication before eating lunch. We will not have services tonight.

Homecoming: We are preparing to have overflow seating for both the Centennial Historical Presentation at 10:00 am and the worship service at 11:00 am on Homecoming. The Young Married Class (old nursery) and the Choir room will be set up with monitors and will accommodate up to 75 people. As a courtesy to our invited guests and elderly, we are asking any of our younger generation to sit in the overflow seating. In addition, we will have overflow seating for our lunch. As a courtesy to our guests and elderly, we are asking our Youth, after they get their food, to exit through the front door of the Fellowship Building and to eat their meal in the basement of the Fellowship Building. This will help with the flow of the lunch line. We also are asking some of our younger generation to eat under the tents set up outside the fellowship building, weather permitting. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making this a day to remember.

The Centennial plates are here. If you have ordered some, you may pick them up from Beverly Morrison in the fellowship building.

The week of Prayer for State Missions is September 7-14. Our goal this year is $1500.00 for the Janie Chapman Offering. Emphasis is “Infusion”; to cause to be permeated with something that alters-usually for the better. It says in 1st Corinthians 9:23, “Everything I do, I do to get the good news to men. I want to have a part in this work.”
